Terms of use

Last updated 29 October 2026

1. The service

Dronetræneren is an online service for practising for the theory exams for the A1/A3 and A2 drone certificates. It consists of practice questions with explanations, mock exams and statistics. These terms apply when you use Dronetræneren and when you buy access.

By creating an account or buying access, you accept these terms.

2. Who you are dealing with

Dronetræneren is a service from DroneTreneren, Gjerdrums vei 10E, 0484 Oslo, Norway.

Send questions, complaints and other enquiries to hej@dronetraeneren.dk.

3. Account

You can try the service free without an account. To buy access you need to create an account. The account is personal and must not be shared. You are responsible for keeping your login secret.

We may close accounts used in breach of these terms, for example if an account is shared or content is copied.

4. Free trial

The free version gives you 1 practice session and 1 mock exam per certificate. You can replay them with the same questions. We may change what the free version includes.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown on the pricing page in Danish kroner, including Danish VAT (moms).

Every purchase is a one-time payment. There is no subscription and access does not renew automatically. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

6. Access period

Access applies to the certificate you buy (A1/A3, A2 or both) and starts once payment is complete.

  • 1 week gives access for 7 days.
  • 1 month gives access for 30 days.
  • Lifetime gives access for as long as Dronetræneren is operated, with no time limit for you.

When time-limited access expires, you keep your statistics up to the expiry date. You can buy new access at any time.

7. Right of withdrawal

Dronetræneren is digital content delivered straight away. When you buy, you expressly ask for access to start immediately and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once delivery has begun, in line with the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (forbrugeraftaleloven).

Purchases are therefore not refunded once access has been activated. This does not affect your rights if the service is faulty, see section 8.

8. Faults and complaints

If the service does not work as described, you can complain under the Danish Sale of Goods Act (købeloven) rules on digital content. Email hej@dronetraeneren.dk within a reasonable time after you discover the fault. We will fix it, extend your access or give a full or partial refund, depending on what is reasonable.

If you find a mistake in a question or explanation, let us know with the feedback button in the app.

9. About the content

The questions are practice questions we wrote ourselves from the syllabus. They are not copies of the official exam. Dronetræneren is not affiliated with Trafikstyrelsen or with the recognised A2 exam providers.

We work to keep the content correct and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that you will pass the exam. The rules in force and official sources always take precedence over Dronetræneren’s content.

11. Liability

We are not liable for indirect losses, such as the cost of retaking an exam. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for access. This limitation does not apply where mandatory law provides otherwise.

The service may be unavailable for short periods during maintenance or outages. For longer outages we extend time-limited access accordingly.

12. Personal data

We only process the data we need to provide the service: your account and email (via Clerk), payment (via Stripe) and your answers, which are used for statistics. Processing follows the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We measure traffic anonymously and without cookies (Vercel Analytics). If you accept cookies, we also use Google Analytics and PostHog to see how the site is used so we can improve it. PostHog stores data in the EU. Before you consent, the Google tag only sends anonymous signals without cookies (Google Consent Mode), which Google uses to estimate visits and purchases from ads. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time under “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page.

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data. Contact us at hej@dronetraeneren.dk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet.

13. Changes

We may update the service and these terms. Significant changes are announced on the website or by email. Changes to your disadvantage do not apply to access you have already paid for.

14. Governing law and complaints

These terms are governed by Danish law, and you always keep the protection that mandatory Danish consumer rules give you. We would rather resolve any disagreement directly with you, so please email hej@dronetraeneren.dk first.

If we can’t agree, you can complain to Nævnenes Hus (the Danish Consumer Complaints Board). As we are based in Norway, you can also get free help from Forbrug Europa, the European Consumer Centre in Denmark.
